About this place

EL Ideas is the opposite of a stuffy tasting menu. Phillip Foss runs one seating a night with loud music, and guests are invited into the open kitchen during dinner. Bring your own wine or beer.

Good to know: tasting menu only, one seating, $195 a person plus tax and service. Open Thursday to Sunday. Book through a request through OpenTable, usually weeks ahead. From Schaumburg it is about 28 miles, or 43 minutes by car with light traffic via I-90.
