AM Air Service, which also flies under the name Heli Chicago, runs helicopter flights out of Hangar C28 at Schaumburg Regional Airport. The best known is the downtown tour, which follows the lakefront and the Chicago skyline before heading back to Schaumburg. There are also shorter flights over the northwest suburbs, an introductory ride for first-timers, longer "mega" tours of the region and flights built around lunch or dinner.

Beyond sightseeing, the company handles private and corporate charters, aerial photography and survey work, and helicopter appearances for weddings, proposals, festivals and company events. It holds FAA Part 91 and Part 135 certificates.
