About this place

Citywings is a flight school based in the terminal at Schaumburg Regional Airport, in Suite 119 on the lower level. It trains new pilots in light-sport airplanes toward a Sport Pilot or Private Pilot certificate, with ground school offered either in person each week or online.

If you are not sure flying is for you, start with a discovery flight: a short introductory lesson where you sit in the left seat with an instructor and take the controls. Discovery flights are also sold as gift certificates, which makes them a popular present for birthdays and holidays.

Good to know: the school is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and flights depend on the weather, so keep your schedule flexible. Lesson prices, flight credit packages and the pilot training kit are listed on the school's website.
