The Woodfield area is really three separate retail centers that people routinely confuse with one another, and Village Green is the one visitors have usually never heard of. It is smaller and open-air, with a mix of shops and restaurants aimed more at everyday errands than at a day out.

That makes it useful in a specific way: when the mall is at holiday capacity and Streets of Woodfield is busy, this is where you can still park near the door. For residents it is a straightforward local stop rather than a destination.

The tenant mix has moved since the center changed hands in 2024, and there is no single official directory to check against, so it is worth confirming a specific business directly before driving over.

Included here mainly for orientation: if someone gives you directions to 'Woodfield' and you end up somewhere much quieter than expected, this is probably where you are.
