Navigating seamlessly through Americana, classic country, folk, blues, and rock, Ashley's lyrically layered compositions charm with humor and a poignant understanding of the human experience. Ashley's prolific career boasts six albums and three singles, showcasing her versatility. The title track of her record "Trying to Fly" was featured on the Showtime Series "Work in Progress." Her latest endeavor, the album "Love Bug" (Feb 2024), is proudly sponsored by a grant from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE). The Tear Garden is about to embark on its first tour dates in the bands history. Founders Cevin Key (Skinny Puppy, Download) and Edward Ka-Spel (Legendary Pink Dots) joined forces 30 years ago to create their initial recordings, psychedelia-infused electronic and tribal tracks that would become their first album , "rdquo" -> Tired Eyes Burning". In 2025, their new album , 'Astral Elevator' has been gleefully received and a long persistent cry from an audience clamouring for a tour look set to have their prayers answered. The combination of Skinny Puppy's sonic overload and the Pink Dots' hallucinogenic labyrinth may seem like an unlikely combination, but the evidence of the music and the longevity of the project exemplifies a perfect marriage. Wisconsi-based electronic chanteuse CARRELLEE, who recently joined the IAMX US touring team will open the show, along with Bragolin, a Dutch post-punk/dark wave projectcontaining influences from various decades with '80s baritone guitar, synths and drummachines, '60s/'70s organs and '90's Shoegaze guitars.
