An escape room is sixty minutes, a locked themed set and a group trying to think its way out, and Mastermind has been running them in Schaumburg long enough to have the format properly sorted. Several rooms operate at this location at different difficulty levels, so a first-timer group and a group on its tenth attempt can both be pointed at something appropriate.

Four to six people is the sweet spot. Two is hard work, eight is a crowd where someone ends up standing at the back on their phone. It works especially well with teenagers, who tend to be better at it than the adults and enjoy that enormously.

Book ahead - rooms run on a schedule and weekend slots go first. Arrive fifteen minutes early for the briefing.

Note before you book: this location is on an upper floor and is not step-free, so if anyone in your group has mobility needs, call first and ask about the other Schaumburg location instead.
